Create next year's Annual Conference artwork
The Higher Learning Commission is now accepting entries for the design to serve as the emblem of its 2013 Annual Conference. The winning entry will be used on all promotional and conference materials, including mailers, e-mails, Web pages, the Conference program book, signage, and other Conference related materials. The artist will be credited where possible on selected promotional and conference items.
A prize of $1,500 will be awarded to the winning entrant.
The deadline is February 24, 2012.
Eligibility
Entrants must be faculty, staff, or students from NCA-HLC accredited institutions.

Prizes and Selection
Entries will be narrowed to three finalists. The finalist will be showcased during the 2012 Annual Conference before approximately 3,800 attendees for the final voting process.
A prize of $1,500 will be awarded to the winning entrant.
Notification
The winning entrant will be notified shortly after the close of the selection process. The original selected artwork must by received by the Higher Learning Commission by April 18, 2012.

Submit Image
Entries must be received no later than February 24, 2012. No late submissions will be accepted.
Submit digital images of the work of art in a PC compatible tif file, with a resolution of 300 DPI and an image size no smaller than 7 inches (17.78 cm) x 7 inches (17.78 inches). Please do not submit the original piece of art.

Conditions of Entry
By entering in the contest, the entrant agrees to the following conditions:
The artwork cannot already have been previously published.
The original art winning entry will become property of the Higher Learning Commission, to be included in the organization's art collection.
A winning entrant agrees that the Higher Learning Commission shall have the right to reproduce the artwork on its Web site, and on promotional posters, art cards or other printed materials which may be distributed at no charge or be sold for a fee.
Entries must be accompanied by an official entry form containing the following information:
- Artist's name, institution, address, telephone number, and e-mail address
- A short artist's biography
- Description of the artwork, including dimensions, medium and title
- Acknowledgment of the conditions of entry
